I scheduled an appointment and arrived shortly before noon. After the car ahead of me finished, I pulled into the bay, only to be told the technician was going on break and I'd have to wait an hour, despite my confirmed appointment.
Thinking this was a mistake, I contacted customer service. An area manager called me back and made it worse. I was told that appointments are not actually followed at this location, that corporate overtime policies take priority over serving customers with appointments, and that while the team could help customers before breaks, "they aren't always good about doing that." When I asked what I should have done differently, the answer was nothing—situations like this "just happen."
Let that sink in: I was told I did everything right, but the company simply doesn't honor its own scheduling system.
I left this feedback because I genuinely believed the company would want the opportunity to address and correct what appears to be a preventable customer experience issue. Based on the response I received, I am not confident that meaningful changes will be made.
The bottom line: Management acknowledged the problem exists, offered zero solution, and made it clear nothing will change. They wasted an hour of my time despite my appointment, and their own area manager confirmed this is just how they operate.
IF YOU VALUE YOUR TIME, GO LITERALLY ANYWHERE ELSE. This company does not respect scheduled appointments, and management has admitted as much. You've been warned.

Do I need an Interlock Device on all of my vehicles?
Some states will require that you have an Ignition Interlock Device installed on all cars registered to you, but most states will just require that whichever vehicle you drive have an IID installed. Check with your state authority to see if you will need an IID installed on all of your cars.
Does the Interlock Device mess up or hurt my vehicle?

How do I use an Interlock Device?

How does an Interlock Device work?
When you blow into your Ignition Interlock Device, you're providing a breath test sample in order to start the vehicle. The device then measures your Breath Alcohol Concentration (BrAC), and will either say that you passed, need to retest, or failed. You will be asked to take rolling retests throughout your drive.
What can breathalyzers detect?
Breathalyzers only measure your Breath Alcohol Concentration (BrAC).
Is an Ignition Interlock the same as a breathalyzer?
Ignition Interlock and handheld breathalyzers both test your Breath Alcohol Concentration (BrAC), but an Ignition Interlock Device is only installed in vehicles and prevents the car from starting if there is alcohol detected. A handheld breathalyzer only detects alcohol and may tell you the concentration.
Can I unplug my Ignition Interlock?
Check with your state authority to see if you are allowed to unplug your Ignition Interlock before doing so.
Can someone else drive my car?
Yes, but whoever is driving the vehicle MUST take a breath test and pass before driving. Any failed test will still be your responsibility.
