Ordered a used gun from this location online. Received a cancellation email at 2am. If small local gun stores who sell online can figure out systems for live inventory, why can't the biggest seller in the USA do the same?

Soni fome in to by a pairnor boots that says on sale.or clearance.. fornlike 49..97 on their website. Nothin says online only. It saysboutbof stock on the grapevine location butbi go in and find those exact ones on the shelf. Marked as 120. Soni ask for helo to make sure they are the right ones... then thebguy i ask says no thats wrong. And that i habe ti go online... no thats notbhow this works. It never said that. So i guess drove 15 miles ornmore for nothin duento false advertising. Well its had to buy stuff as isbwith the economy but then when thebstore doesn't acknowledge or hold true to the advertising they put it make it wuite discouraging to soend money or come back. I needed new boots but i guess im not gettin any now. And wasted my tiem too. Damn shame. Cause i had the items and the claimed sale pulled up on my phone. The man i spoke with explained nothin only demied the price yall said it was on sale for... false advertising that's illegal.

The old man in the gun department randomly goes on tirades against Hunter Biden, Joe Biden, and other democratic figures to unsuspecting and uninterested customers. Not all gun owners are white trash enthusiasts. This is highly inappropriate and misguided for any kind of customer service position.

Went to get some sawdust for our smoker. The older gentleman who worked in that section was extremely knowledgeable. There were only two bags left, and he knew right away when the next shipment was expected to arrive, how I could order online, and what it would cost. I was truly impressed.
Overall, it’s just a great store to visit. There’s lots to see and explore with kids. When we entered the store, my kids were treated to popcorn, and every team member was polite and friendly.Went to get some sawdust for our smoker. The headline is that this store is more relationship oriented than transactional. Everyone who helped me today was kind, helpful, and my stress went down with each one of them. I would love to share my experience with Bass Pro Shop in Grapevine.. We have a big ice storm coming. Our last, in 2021, was horrible with power outages, broken pipes and deaths due to freezing. I was anxious as I prepared my home for this possible event. I realized a zero degree sleeping bag would protect me should we lose power for days again. I called to reserve my sleeping bags and Jessica, in customer service, helped me get the help I needed. Her voice was warm and kind not only on the phone, but also when I went to pick up my items in person. Robert, in camping, helped me work through what kind I needed. I felt like he heard my stress over the forecast and he was super kind and helpful. They could have said they never hold things for someone, but he didn’t. He helped me. When I got home with my purchases I called the store to get Jessica’s name as I knew I’d be telling the store manager how much I appreciated the staff, when I met Marianne, the lady who answers the phone. I’m in my 70’s. She is older than me, which made me fall in love with the store all over again! She was an absolute delight. I learned she has been there since the store opened. I highly recommend this store. They won’t just sell you something. They are vested in our being happy with what we got and it meets our needs. Great great staff. Thank you Bass Pro!!!
