- JDJohn DeMastersMay 31, 20251.0I own a tree service and was looking for sunglasses to help protect my eyes. We visited the Bass Pro / Sunglass Hut. The sales person was fantastic and sold me a very expensive pair of Costa Glasses with close fitting frame (etc). He also dated that if they didn’t work out we could return them. My first day wearing them at work, they fogged up tremendously because I sweat profusely climbing trees and I had to remove them to see. I went and purchased some cheap tinted safety glasses and these worked better for me. We went back to the the Bass Pro / Sunglass Hut and was informed that Sunglass Hut Policy is an exchange only. I guess I own a $500 pair of sunglasses that I’ll never use. Very disappointed that I was verbally told one thing (to get a significant sale) and then turned away when trying to get help. Lesson learned - make 100% sure before you purchase 👍 5⭐️for selection and availability
