Went to return/exchange sunglasses I bought online. (I originally went to a Sunglass Hut near Keller a few weeks back that suggested this pair, which they tried to order for me in store but the system wouldn’t work, so I ordered online.) First I went to the standalone Sunglass Hut in Firewheel, but they had a sign on the door that they’d be back by a certain time, and that time came and went already. So I make it to the Sunglass Hut in Macy’s, I ask if I can do an exchange. Sales rep at the counter says she’ll have to ask her manager, I say yes please do. Sales rep gets confirmation that I can exchange an online order there. I find a new pair I like. We go to do the exchange, system won’t work. 30 minutes of trying with 3 different supervisors, no luck. Sales rep calls her manager, manager says to give up and suggest I go to the standalone Sunglass Hut. I explain I did that first, but no one was there, if she could please call ahead and see if they have the pair I want. Sales rep calls and asks, they don’t have the pair I want. I’ve worked in customer service, and it would have been nice had she offered any kind of help. Like let me check which store may have those available. All I got was a sorry, bye now. After I left Macys, I called the Sales Rep back to see if I could possibly return to the Sunglass Hut within walking distance that she had just called, and then buy the pair I wanted with her at the price I originally paid. It was the same brand and style glasses, just a different color. She says I’ll have to check with my manger, I said please do and if you could call me back. 10 minutes go by, no call back. I call, the sale rep says no they cannot do that because they would need to present for the return. Cool. Sunglass Hut, you’re really making this whole process a pain. I’ve been very patient, but this is getting ridiculous.
