  The employees are awesome but what the corporate American eagle tells them to do at the end at checkout is kind of messed up. “Would you like to apply for our American eagle credit card?” Then they scan a barcode taking 20% off the total and when you say no it goes back to normal price. That’s is so taking advantage of people right now. Especially since the economy is so bad! It’s very sad and very low. Not cool. The last thing people need is to sign up for another credit card. Not cool. (No offense to this store or the employees personally) but obviously there’s no way to leave a review for the corporate headquarters of American eagle.

  I really don’t make reviews but I have never felt so unwelcome by the employees. I was with my boyfriend and his sister, she went to try on some clothes and as we were walking around I noticed a manager/employee eyeing us down. I got irritated cause it seemed like she thought we were stealing. I understand being cautious but literally as we were walking her eyes were just tracing us. Of course I reciprocate the same energy bc I don’t put up with stuff like that. She followed us as we left the store and to her surprise no alarms went off. This has never happened to me before and it was very upsetting and uncomfortable.

  Honestly I am not one to write reviews but I left this store feeling very upset, not an angry upset but a bummed out upset. I go to try to find some items for a trip, I come in the guy up front was super welcoming, ok cool I pick out some things. I go to the fitting room and the girl working the fitting rooms asks for my name ok I go in try the items, I didn’t like how they fit me and I go return the 3 items to the same girl working the fitting rooms. She doesn’t say anything initially so I go “ I won’t be taking any of these items” she goes “wow nothing? nothing at all?” I say “oh no I didn’t like them” she goes “girl get out of my face, you’re wasting my time” I just kind of stand there bc I didn’t know what to say, she goes “oh I’m kidding” and I just hand her the items and leave. That just ruined my whole experience there that was very rude and not something you should say to someone just because you’re not taking anything. Even if it was a “joke”, that’s not something to be said to a customer.
