I purchased several Stylus brand apparel items from JCPenney and initially became a big fan of the brand. The fabric felt soft and comfortable, which led me to buy multiple items for my entire family. Unfortunately, the quality did not meet expectations after use. After just a single wear and normal care: One shirt shrank significantly, to almost three-quarters of its original size, making it unwearable. Another T-shirt lost its color and became noticeably dull, to the extent that it is difficult to wear it anywhere. This experience was disappointing, especially since these were not clearance items. When I contacted the store to raise a quality concern, I was informed that the products were outside the return window and therefore could not be accepted for return. My concern is not merely about the return window, but about quality standards. As a customer, there should be a way to raise legitimate quality issues when a product fails after minimal use. A reasonable return or exchange policy should apply when a product does not perform as expected, regardless of the return window—particularly for non-clearance items. I genuinely liked the brand and chose JCPenney based on trust and past experience. I hope the team will review this concern seriously and consider a return or resolution based on product quality rather than policy timelines alone.
