  I visited on 1/28/2026 around 4:00 PM to return a few items and was assisted by an older woman wearing black glasses with thick frames. From the moment the interaction began, she was dismissive and spoke to me in a condescending tone. She implied that I was being dishonest and repeatedly talked over me whenever I attempted to explain. Instead of handling a routine return professionally, the situation was made unnecessarily uncomfortable and confrontational. Too bad for her all of my items could be returned as I did purchase each and everyone of them. Clearly this location does not care about their reputation as the last couple of reviews are poor and the only thing the reply says is thank you for sharing, etc. No customer should feel accused, disrespected, or belittled while completing a basic transaction.

  (31yo hispanic female) Purchased a pair of business slacks less than two weeks ago. I was told the store return policy was to return in the same condition as it was sold to me. Tags still on, unworn, and receipt in hand, I attempted to return them yesterday. Sales associate AND manager rejected them, stating "oh no...these have been worn for sure." All I had done was take them on to try on again with my heels at home. Didnt even walk around my home, simply tried them on and they still were too long for me (5'tall) so I opted to return and look elsewhere. But they imagined stains on the pant bottoms and rejected them. They offered me an even exchange (which im not sure why since their shortest pant length was still too long) or store credit. Based off how they spoke to me and turned their boses up at me after assuming I had worn and tried to return them rubbed me the wrong way. Fast forward one extra day, I had my stepsister return them for me (28yo caucasian female) in the same exact condition and sure enough, they accepted the return almost immediately without any comments on their inspections of the item. Overall disappointed with the atittude I was given and ultimately feel as if I was being treated like trash. Sales associate and manager both need to be retrained on the values of customer service and overall attitude adjustments. I will not be returning, Express has lost a valued customer.

  I have been to this store exactly twice and left frustrated and annoyed both times. I went to pick up an online order and they couldn't find my order, couldn't price match it so I could just buy the item in the store, and told me my order was canceled when it is still showing ready for pick up. I did an online chat and have now spoke to two customer service reps on the phone and no one can seem to actually cancel the order. The store is also in shambles. The floor tiles are all cracked and falling apart. The employee grunted at me to greet me. Get these employees some training, please! Where is the manager!?!
