  I enjoy going to the mall, it's always busy with people, places and things. All interesting of course because they're things you don't see everyday. Every shop has the newest trends. The food courts look and smell delicious all the way through. Servers are inviting and friendly.

  This Mall is absolutely huge! I temporarily doing contract work in Seabrook, which is about 25 minutes away. Traffic is terrible around the Mall. People drive like maniacs here and parking is hard to find if you want something close to a mall entrance or store. Be prepared to walk A LOT. To see this entire Mall and maybe shop in a couple of them will take an entire day, lol. It's that big. The food court is great with lots of options, including Japanese food. I think every store under the sun, with the exception of Bass Pro shop and Academy is there. All it's missing is a Buc-ee's, lol.

  This was our hangout back in the early 1980s where we'd basically just get "ripped" and go walk around the mall trying not to get the "laughs" right in front of everyone. Good times. Baybrook Mall was at least a weekly trip usually Friday and/or Saturday when we'd get bored of our hometown Alvin so we'd either go to Baybrook or Friendswood or Clear Lake where we'd look for some other high schoolers from there to fight. Back then we could scrap it out with each other then end up being friends instead of today you try to fight and you get shot or stabbed! Ahh the good old days of the 1980s. It was a different world. A better world in my opinion and Baybrook Mall was right there with us. I'm actually surprised it's still open. Next time I'm back in Alvin I'll have to get a couple buddies and "roll a fat one" and go walk around Baybrook Mall one more time for old times sake. Of course now if need a walker to make it around the entire thing. Life sure flies by because yesterday I was a high school sophomore and now I'm a broken down old Flight Paramedic. Enjoy youth while you have it folks for it is fleeting. 🤙
