- BYB. YoungMar 22, 20261.0I called Chambers to come out and “update” my gas fireplace on 12/3/24. Jeff T. came & replaced the old gas logs w/glass beads and a whole new burner set up. Repainted the inside and replaced the screen with a glass front. It was perfect! Exactly what I was wanting. $1,500 well spent! We used it all into the spring of 2025. But when winter rolled around in ‘25, we could not get it to light. Then, to add to this frustration, I could not get a response from Jeff (he gave me his number with assurance he would be there to help me). I called the office only to be informed what it would cost me to come look at it & then what it would cost if…..and so on. What happened to customer service, good phone??? I guess I only presented a problem and not “new business”. BTW, they did not even ask who I was or look at what I had installed. Then one day I got a random text while at work from a guy who had been sent by Jeff (?!?) to come by & look at my fireplace while he was working in my area but no one was there. Because we didn’t know he was coming!! I have texted & re-texted him trying to get him to come back, but no luck. I usually am the person who is happy to write the 5 star review to help businesses out. I work and know the importance of that for marketing. But, my frustration over the situation has brought me here, as I sit looking at my beautiful “new” fireplace THAT DOES NOT WORK!
