Once he did, we realized they were a bit tight around the waist. Within three days of purchase, we returned to the store to exchange or return them. The pants were neatly folded back in their original packaging, with the tags and size strip still intact, and we had the receipt showing the purchase was made only three days prior. At the return counter, the sales associate refused to accept the return, claiming the pants smelled like food. I was taken aback by this insensitive and biased remark. It was both rude and offensive, and it seemed to come from a place of prejudice.
