  My favorite thing to do at HPB is go straight to the clearance and then work my way around from there. I have found a ton of “like new” hardbacks for $3-5 dollars doing this. HPB has something for everyone too - from books to movies to games (board and video) - they even have music and puzzles! And if you want brand new books at a discount? They’ve got that too.

  They create fake online listings, I am not sure if this is a price penetration practice or what. I have tried to buy multiple books from them online only to be refunded a few days later with a message informing me that "the listing was an error". It is very frustrating to purchase something only to be told "Oh, we don't actually have it.", which does not make sense.

  Best HPB there ever was. Carter, andre, Melinda, and the rest of their staff are the reason places like hpb are memorable and worth visiting

  I find this to be the best location in the DFW, less crowded, and they usually have more rare books in my experience.
