  Venden cosas defectuosas en la sucursal de brownsville tx, compré un toldo que al abrirlo estaba en mal estado y al momento de reclamar el cambio no lo hicieron válido por qué estaba abierto, el personal con muy mala actitud

  I shop at Academy frequently and always find what I need, but the checkout experience consistently false short. There are rarely enough cashier lanes open which leads a long wait times - even when the store isn’t that busy. Improving staffing at check out would make a big difference.

  It’s alright. Good variety of stuff and nice area to shop around but pretty unorganized and dirty at times. Also, the cashiers are usually awful at both customer service and efficiency, I guess just their job in general? Good luck trying to get anything if you’re there for pickup, if you have any other plans for the day I’d cancel them- because the time you’ll spend waiting is gonna be pretty dammnnnn longggg 🤷‍♀️

  Not a bad store. Unfortunately, i chose the wrong sneaker size and since i had lost the receipt, and having worn the shoes 1 day, they couldn't make the return/exchange, per their store policy. I left the sneakers behind with them. Overall, i would still buy at the store, just be more careful with the ticket.

  Forget trying to get someone on the phone. They NEVER answer. I have two days calling over and over different times of day, with no answer and line just disconnects. Their property as mentioned also needs attention. They need someone qualified who can breath down their employees and make sure their work is being done. There’s plenty of people needing jobs. There’s no way it’s a lack of employees, and the people that need to get blamed for everything is management. Get yourself someone who’s dealt with people and large facilities with a track record for professionalism, customer care, and quality display of property. I can’t stand nasty facilities and poor customer service. Even the basic stuff like answering the phones is lacking. Good grief.
