  When I noticed that I could get the same items on Madewell.com at a better price, I kindly asked if they were able to match their website’s pricing. The woman I worked with became noticeably irritated. She stated that the discount would only work with certain items. I explained to her that the discount would work on the items I selected, as I already tested it out on the website. With my guidance, she used her iPad to verify. After confirming that the code worked, she asked how I got the code. I told her that I found it online. She said that it could have been a code sourced from an influencer and that she wouldn’t honor it. I politely said it wasn’t an issue and then ordered the clothes online at the better price. While I am surprised they couldn’t match their own website’s prices, that is not why I am leaving a bad review. I’m leaving a bad review due to the way I was treated. I had a couple of other passive aggressive interactions with the associates in the store. I.e. I asked one of the associates if they had a pair of shorts in a different size, she simply said “no”, never offering to order them online. (This is what led me to use the website in the first place; they were available online). If I had done something to that warrant the bad vibes, I’m unclear what could have been the reason. I shopped at a couple other stores that day and had great interactions with their employees, so I don’t think it was me.

  I’ve never left a review in my entire life, but today will be the first time. Nolan who is an associate within the store was extremely helpful when I was trying on a new pair of shoes. Not only did he go above and beyond to answer any questions I had but was also so kind and pleasant to chat with. The world needs more Nolan’s and he definitely deserves a promotion!

  Very familiar with women's madewell and never seen the men's before - these clothes look and feel amazing and the service was fantastic! Very welcoming and frequent check ins.

  My husband and I frequent this location and we are always blown away by the quality of help and service we receive. Meg is the sale associate who typically helps us and she always goes above and beyond to make sure we are well taken care of and find everything we need. Meg is always kind,professional, and prompt and has made us loyal Madewell Men’s customers!
