- GSGavin Stone1 day ago5.0It's always fun once you manage to sneak past the record snobs taking up all the tables to check every single vynil, or trying to not get seen laughing on the cook book section which happens to be by the buying counter and you overhear the store offering a bloke 25 cents for a giant box of books. You gotta explore to find the best deals too. It's like a treasure hunt of sorts. Go and take your time! And good luck with the hipsters!

I spend so much time here looking for books to read and books to gift, tarot cards and old records… stuffies for kids and crafty kits. I truly love this place and it brings me so much joy. I once befriended a 90 year old man in the Spanish book section and we exchanged emails and I met him and his wife for coffee and conversation at half price books. So much love for this business
