I originally placed an order last week, but for some reason it was canceled. When I tried to reorder, the price had gone up to almost $75. The first customer service agent offered free delivery, which I already qualified for, and an $8 credit. Then I spoke with Supervisor Candice, and she was incredibly helpful. She matched the original sale price with no hesitation. Quality customer service is hard to come by these days, but every once in a while you get lucky. Please give Candice in Ohio a raise, she truly deserves it!

The phone number listed below in the comments is a bit of a misdirection. It is a Customer Service number, but it is the phone number for the centralized JC Penney Online Customer Service Center--not the actual Amarillo store location. The orders were cancelled at the store level. Again, this store does not honor the "buy online, pick up in store" option despite being offered. _____ Last week I ordered an item online for store pick that showed as in stock. An hour later my order was cancelled. The next day I went to the store and found the exact item I ordered the day before. Today, I ordered two items online for store pick up. My order was just cancelled. Both items currently show as available/in stock. It seems that this is not actually an option, despite being offered.
