    Arrived within 30 minutes of closing. Received help to the desired department, was shown available options for what I wanted to purchase, & had to go the checkout desk to order item online because they only had a display item & it was damaged. So now, we have to wait for delivery to the store & return for pickup.

    You walk in and you are greeted by the friendly staff. Employees frequently checks on me while i shop if im doing ok and they show up when i actually need help 😂. Inventory is well stocked and employees actually know about items they have. Best experience and money well spent!

    I bought a used gun over the phone to have shipped to my local Bass Pro Shops. Unfortunately for me, two days later, an unnamed manager/gun lead incorrectly determined that the gun wasn't legal in my state and cancelled the sale without contacting me. I lost out due to non existent customer service and a manager/gun lead who doesn't know the law and sure wasn't interested in educating themselves. All of this hassle could have been prevented by placing a simple phone call to me to resolve any concerns BEFORE cancelling the sale. The gun was 100% legal in my state and the manager/gun lead was 100% wrong. I might ad that the only reason I found out the sale had been cancelled was that I saw the gun appear for sale online two days after I bought it. I called the store to find out what the problem was and was informed that the sale was cancelled and my Cabela's credit card had been refunded. The manager/gun lead wasn't in and the salesman could not/would not pull the gun from the online platform so the issue could be resolved before someone else bough the gun. I was supposed to receive a call from the gun lead/manager and that never happened....no phone call, no nothing. Another customer bough the gun online which really sucked for me since I called the store before that happened and asked them to pull the gun so it couldn't be bought out from under me. I've been a Cabela's/Bass Pro Shops customer for years and have bought many guns from them and I am very disappointed in the lack of customer service I experienced from the Allen Texas location.

    I had a great experience at Bass Pro Shops thanks to Jason at the gun counter. He was friendly, knowledgeable, and extremely helpful throughout the entire process. He took the time to answer all of my questions without rushing and made sure I felt confident in my purchase. Customer service like that really stands out. If you’re heading to Bass Pro, ask for Jason — he’ll take good care of you

    I recently purchased a Vortex Razor Gen III 1-10 x scope online from Cabela’s on 1/20/26. The scope arrived on 1/29/26 in a FexEx package which seemed to have what looked like blood. As I inspected the scope, several things stood out. 1) The Vortex box’s seal was broken. 2) Vortex box the scope arrived in has some interior wear. 3) The scope glass itself has blemishes/dirt. 4) The scope tube has some wear and seems it had previously been mounted. 5) The scope has a small dent near the front sight. 6) The rear cap cover doesn’t fit and it’s probably from a different brand or model. This is unacceptable, especially after spending $2,700 and receiving what seems like either a floor model or returned item. Trying to pass a USED item to a first time customer as NEW is deceptive and bad business practice. Below I are the pictures. I would recommend you take your business to Scheels. I bought the same scope for the same price and the box’s seal wasn’t broken.
