I am sure I an not a large customer but I do purchase for the Allen Store. It to the point so many of the products can be purchased form a sporting goods store in The Colney for a much better price. I have change all of my hunting ammo to Hornady Precision Hunter. Cabela's Has Very little of that ammo.
I think Jeremy Le Cory and his Management Team does a great job working customers. You can see him on the floor with the department managers. I don't believe the store Management Team has any control over inventory of all items. Every day items if thy are on sale are just High!

First time in this particular store. Waited 45 minutes at the gun counter… Three employees one other customer. Never acknowledged me. The rest of the store was nice, but the gun counter has some work to do.

Typically no issues with this place. But two things kind of took away from our experience.
1. The timeshare vacation promoters basically lie to your face and contradict what’s on the fine print to get you to sign up.
2. Don’t get your knife sharpened here. They ground off the tip off my Benchmade and found no issue with it. I didn’t expect the best sharpening in the world, but didn’t think it would be THIS bad

Since being taken over by Bass Pro, customer service has dropped significantly, selection is very limited in store. Better experience shopping online at competitive stores. I used to really enjoy going into Cabelas.

It's Monday the 13th and I went to my first Club member loyalty night and it was a very bad experience. I got back to the gun Department about 10 minutes after 5:00 p.m. and I waited and I waited and I waited two people behind the counter neither one of them acknowledging me the older gentleman that was behind the counter was just having a conversation with two people they're not doing any business they're just talking this man is only about 5 foot from me and he never acknowledges me. When he's done talking to them he goes back down the counter and help somebody else a younger person comes up to me and asked me if I've been helped I told him no he says he'll be back and then he took somebody else that had just walked up later on after I had been there and that customer lied and claimed he'd been there before me which was not true then the younger gentleman tells me that I'm not on the list then he writes me on this list. The older gentleman is now helping a father and a son about a shotgun who just walked up. When he's done with them they walk away he looks right at me and doesn't acknowledge me and turns around and walks away. The young man finally tells the older gentleman that I'm there to be helped and he reluctantly comes over to help me stating he knows nothing about scopes. Long story short by the time I got all that done and got back up there to the area where the food was supposed to be it was all gone. So all in all not a very good first experience with Club membership loyalty night
