Went to Belk's to find a shirt for my new job. I have never entered a store that looks like this. I worked for Sears for years and I would have died if my District Mgr came in and saw this plus being fired. I could not find one dress shirt in that store. Just shocked to have that great of a sale and hear customers were talking how the store looked.

Ah I hate to post this but this store needs help! I don’t know if they need to increase their pay to get employees or what but I hope that this is seen by the right people to make a difference. I would love to shop here. I stop in semi regularly to try to but I get so overwhelmed by the disarray as soon as I walk in. It is always a mess - clothes are never organized, on the floor, thrown on the shelves & racks, etc… it’s so disappointing because there are really cute & beautiful items but it makes me incredibly anxious just to be here that I can’t even shop! Springfield is growing & this could be such a great store for the area. Please corporate - send help, increase wages, something!!

I recently visited the Springfield Belk with the intention of purchasing a perfume. Unfortunately, my experience was disappointing. Although the store was not busy, I waited several minutes at the perfume counter without being greeted or offered assistance, even though an employee was present and appeared to notice me. Additionally, I was surprised to see that all perfume samples were locked away, which made it difficult to explore options on my own. With limited time to shop, this made the process frustrating and ultimately unproductive. I truly value good customer service and accessibility when making a purchase decision, especially with items like fragrance. I hope management will consider improving attentiveness at the counter and making the sampling process more customer-friendly, as these changes would make shopping at Belk a much more enjoyable experience.

Came in to shop and when I went to checkout there was only one single person working the entire store on a Friday afternoon. There were 10 people waiting to check out and probably about 50 people in the store. It is completely criminal that the manager, Evan Brown, let this happen. It's plain unsafe to have one person working a huge department store. This manager should be fired. The store should be closed if there aren't enough people to staff it.
