They have many luxury and nice brands. We looked at most of the departments. They had friendly, helpful staff in many places throughout the store. There was a list of stores within the Greenhills mall that I intended to shop at, and Nordstrom’s men’s department was the closest store to my parking spot, and that’s where I entered the mall. I stopped briefly at a display and was met with easily the most charismatic and helpful sales associate I’ve ever encountered. I have a very particular style that isn’t necessarily easy to shop for, but Fred went above and beyond for over two hours, walking me through the different departments within the men’s department, helping me understand my own style better than I’ve ever done myself, and must have made over 20 trips to and from the fitting room just for me. I had such a good time that after I left and was underwhelmed by other stores on my list, I came back to shop shoes, boxers, and belts with Fred again. For the first time in my retail life, I’ve met someone who I will go back to no matter the circumstances for style advice, inspiration, and direction. I cannot stress this enough, I have shopped on Rodeo Drive, fifth Avenue and Madison Avenue in New York City, the Grove in Los Angeles, Beverly Hills mall, and Fillmore Street in San Francisco, and I have never encountered a sales associate as effective, engaging, and knowledgeable as Fred. Nordstrom, if you have any sense, you will do everything in your power to hold onto Fred.
