⚠️ Warning – Misleading Sales & Scam Experience ⚠️ I normally love Bass Pro Shops and have always had great experiences there. Unfortunately, this review is about the Bluegreen Vacations seller inside the Bass Pro Shops in Nashville, TN, where we bought a travel voucher as a gift for my father — and it turned into a nightmare. The Bluegreen Vacations salesman completely misled us. He promised us 3 nights at the Fountains Resort for $199. That sounded like an amazing deal. But where did we actually end up? In a dirty Hampton Inn, with dark hair in the bed. Absolutely disgusting and nothing like what was promised. He also never told us that receiving the $150 prepaid MasterCard required attending a mandatory 2-hour sales presentation. If we had known this in advance, we would NEVER have bought the voucher. We already had plans and tickets for Universal Studios, but because of this presentation, we were only able to enter the parks 5 hours after opening. A complete waste of valuable vacation time. On top of that, the salesman told us we could bring up to 6 people for free because the room was supposedly very large. I’m honestly glad we didn’t do that — because I have never seen such a small room in my life. This entire experience was based on false promises, hidden conditions, and aggressive sales tactics. Bass Pro Shops should seriously reconsider allowing Bluegreen Vacations to operate in their stores, because it damages the trust customers have in the brand. Please be careful — these people are just trying to rip you off. Don’t let yourself get fooled. ⭐ 1/5 – Extremely disappointing and misleading.

The selection at Bass Pro really is impressive. I find the prices on nice outdoor clothing fair and good looking choices. The fishing gear is plentiful and decently priced and the gun department has everything I want. The wait is a bit long because lot's of looky loo's which I am guilty of too tho.

I love Bass Pro at Opry Mills and I always go there when visiting Nashville. Huge selection of hunting and fishing gear! Why 3 stars? When entering the store from inside the mall and while walking thru the store, these "sales people" interrupt my otherwise enjoyable experience trying to sell me something. It sounds like a time share from what I've heard them pitch to other customers. Personally I find it very annoying, and now every visit I know one of them are going to say "hey let me show you what we're doing today" as I'm walking by, like the people on the midway at the local fair. I'd rather shop in peace and not be bothered!

If you need gear for a long hike, ask for Cody! He's super knowledgeable and generous with his time. He helped me pick the perfect backpack and fit it for me, then told me lots of helpful information. Thank you, Cody!

Do not buy anything related to firearms from this store. They offer limited help, generally terrible wait times, and no real chance at a return of you bought the wrong thing due to a lack of any help. There are multiple stores with more knowledge help that actually will get you what you need at the same price and selection. Don't waste your time or money here.
