The vision of our 501(c3) nonprofit organization is that ALL people have the opportunity to reach their fullest potential through the power of work.Goodwill Industries of Middle Tennessee is based in Nashville, Tenn. The agency serves 48 counties throughout Middle and West Tennessee, operating 30 retail stores and two outlet stores, about 53 Donation Express Centers and 13 Career Solutions Centers. The nonprofit is one of Tennessee’s largest employers of people with disabilities with more than 45 percent of our workforce reporting some type of disability or disadvantage. Although affiliated with Goodwill Industries International in Rockville, Md., we operate independently through our own governing board of directors. Goodwill accepts gently-used items that donors no longer want, need or use. Those items are sold either in our retail stores or online at onlinegoodwill.com. Revenue from the sale of donated goods helps fund job training services and programs provided by Goodwill Career Solutions. In addition to retail sales, Goodwill depends on several other revenue sources, including state and local grants.

- JMJasmin M.6 days ago1.0My husband and I stopped by and appreciated the selection here however some of the staff needs better training on basic customer service or more days off. While shopping, there was one older female employee who cut into where I was looking and began aggressively hanging clothes right in the spot I was in. I assumed she was just in a hurry so I didn't think anything of it, but then she went to where my husband was looking and picked up some clothes someone else had left behind and said loudly to him, "had to be a man" as if to say he had made that mess. It made us feel very unwelcome and I sincerely hope we were not targeted specifically for being out of towners.
- MMMatthew McCrayApr 8, 20264.0A long line, moved fast. Decent selection of clothes. A little pricey for a Goodwill. Example are used polo shirts fof 5.99. Should be more like 2.99 in my opinion. I mean these are used donated clothes and im living on a budget. Besides that, not all that bad.
