  I don’t typically make reviews, but I really do believe that it is warranted in this case. I’ve been doing business with Tom’s Pwn for about 10yrs. I’ve pawned things, sold items, bought several things from them over the years. Tom and his crew (Kim, Josh, and Troy just to name a few… but ALL are great) are amongst the most amazing people I’ve ever met. They run the business with high integrity and go above and beyond to ensure their customers are taken care of. Tom has amongst the best prices (in my opinion) all around the southeast region of the country… how do I know? Bc I travel across the country for work and in my down time, for fun, I love going to pawn shops to find great deals. Integrity, honesty, loyalty, maximum value… these are words that I have come to experience at every level and every trip. I can be a pain in the ass .. I know it.. never mean to be.. and no one there ever treats me like I am.. they are all the kindest people I’ve ever known. Thank you Tom and crew for ALWAYS making me feel like special and valued. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND making Tom’s Pawn your 1st destination when looking for just about anything. This is obviously my opinion, but it is based on my vast amount of experiences in and around the pawn shops in TN, FL, TX, GA, NC, SC, MI, OH, IL… I hope this extensive review helps..

  Not a great experience shopping here. Looking for an audio mixer. Tested one and it would not power on at all. Looked at another that had an aftermarket adjustable voltage power supply paired with it (could damage/destroy the unit if used with the wrong voltage). They were not flexible on at all on their prices and told me, “We do not barter.” I recommend avoiding this place. *Update* I did return and purchase a mixer from them, only to realize later that several small buttons were actually missing from the unit. While I can appreciate the store taking time to respond to this review, it doesn’t make up for the port attitude toward customers.

  Dawn and Josh were GREAT to work with! Check them out. Cool shop, great assortment of stuff. But most importantly they post on Marketplace and price things to move. Got a great Larrivee OM guitar from these guys. In and out. Easy.

  Great place to BUY, but BEWARE! DO NOT SELL GOLD TO THESE PEOPLE!! Go literally anywhere else in town. We were offered about 30% of the actual value of our scrap gold. Reason being? They have to hold it 30 days before they can do anything with it. Its gold, not an iphone. That is the worst excuse to make an offer that low i have ever heard. We went to a jewelry store 2 miles down the road and got paid multiple times what Toms pawn offered for the same scrap gold. It was over a $1700 difference. To respond to the store: nothing in said regulations requires you to make lowball offers. I just read the entire thing as posted by the state of TN. Do NOT sell gold here.

  I let a friend borrow my Playstation to pawn because she needed some help with her rent. While they had my Playstation they wiped my hard drive, if you have games on your system that you don't want to lose then dont pawn your system here. I called them about it and they pretty much just said "oh well, you have to deal with it because our policy says you have to" ive never had an experience like this with a pawn shop and they wont even replace ONE GAME out of the almost thousand dollars worth of games that they deleted without permission. They were rude about the whole thing too.
