Just wanted to share a little public service announcement for anyone on the hunt for the perfect bra fit.
After losing over 120 lbs, I had to rebuild the basics, starting with bras. I ordered online three different times, fully convinced I could figure it out myself. Spoiler alert: I could not. Each return got more frustrating than the last. The bras I was sending back were a 40DD, and I still felt like I was spilling out with zero support.
Yesterday, while returning yet another online order, I decided to do the thing I’d been avoiding. Around 10:30 a.m., I walked into Lane Bryant at The Avenues in Murfreesboro. The store was busy, and KeNeisha (hope I didn’t butcher the spelling!) was in the middle of getting the store in order when I asked for help, and she immediately shifted gears to take care of me.
She stayed by my side the whole time, only darting off to grab different sizes, and had me try everything from a 38F to a 42DDD. No rushing. No awkwardness. Just real help.
Right when I was resigning myself to the idea that I’d just have to accept something not fitting, or that I’d need a custom bra, Neisha came through.
I left with two amazing bras where:
nothing is falling out
the band actually does its job
and my girls are officially lifted, supported, and minding their business
KeNeisha was kind, patient, and genuinely caring. At a moment when I felt defeated, she had me feeling confident again. I wanted to share this for anyone dealing with weight loss, body changes, or bra rage, because having the right person fit you makes all the difference.
I still have about 30 lbs to go, and I already know I’ll be back to see her when it’s time to size down again.
If you’re local, Lane Bryant at The Avenues in Murfreesboro.

Your boobs deserve this. 💕
