While 5 of the employees were very polite and helpful, the last interaction was worse than I've experienced in quite some time. The elderly lady working at the fine jewelry counter in the women's store must really hate her job. She was rude, condescending and simply didn't want to be there. There's nothing like having some old lady with bad breath talk down to me, explaining how she's been "working here for 24 years and that's just the way things are". I'm sorry she can't comprehend technology. You'd think with brick and mortar doing so poorly, they would lean into costumer service. With experiences like today, I'll keep shopping online.

The store is generally clean and well organized, which makes it easy to browse and find what you need. They often have sales and promotions, so it is possible to find great deals if you shop at the right time. The staff has always been friendly and helpful when I have needed assistance, without being overbearing. My only reason for not giving five stars is that selection can vary by location and some departments feel a bit dated. Overall, Belk is a dependable place to shop for everyday needs and seasonal finds.
- CCCeeikmnzDec 1, 20251.0My boyfriend and I went to this mall and came in through Belks and as we were exiting, one of the employees stated she was trying to win a competition and all we had to do was download the Belk app and price check an item and we would receive a gift. We agreed, but after going these steps, it turns out she was trying to sign us up for a credit card. Don’t think I’ll be entering in that way, or even shop at this location any more. Maybe don’t let your employees try to mislead customers into these things :)
