  I had a very disappointing experience here this evening. My friend and I had been browsing since roughly 5:30–5:40pm and did not hear any closing announcement while we were in there. Exactly 10 minutes before closing, as we were going to the fitting room, an employee (a young woman with brown hair) physically blocked the entrance and said, “I don’t know if anyone’s told you, but we close in five minutes.” Aside from the fact that it was actually ten minutes before closing, the tone was unnecessarily hostile and condescending. When my friend asked if she could still try on an item, the employee responded with visible annoyance, saying “umm yeah.” My friend then asked me to step into the fitting room with her, the employee interrupted to say, “Only one person per fitting room you can’t go in there,” again in a very sharp and dismissive tone. My friend really liked the dress she tried on, but felt too uncomfortable to buy the dress because of the interactions with that employee. I completely understand that staff need to prepare for closing, and as someone who worked retail during my college years, I’m very mindful of store hours and respectful of employees time. However, registers and doors do not close until 6:00pm and we were finished and out of the store with minutes to spare. There was no reason for the interaction to be handled with such visible irritation and disrespect from this staff member. A simple, courteous reminder that the store would be closing shortly would have been perfectly appropriate. Unfortunately, the manner in which we were addressed made the experience feel unnecessarily uncomfortable and unwelcoming. I hope management will consider reinforcing the importance of professionalism and respectful customer service, even during closing procedures.

  Nice dresses, but not size inclusive. There were maybe 2 xl in the store and only a few larges
