The vision of our 501(c3) nonprofit organization is that ALL people have the opportunity to reach their fullest potential through the power of work.Goodwill Industries of Middle Tennessee is based in Nashville, Tenn. The agency serves 48 counties throughout Middle and West Tennessee, operating 30 retail stores and two outlet stores, about 53 Donation Express Centers and 13 Career Solutions Centers. The nonprofit is one of Tennessee’s largest employers of people with disabilities with more than 45 percent of our workforce reporting some type of disability or disadvantage. Although affiliated with Goodwill Industries International in Rockville, Md., we operate independently through our own governing board of directors. Goodwill accepts gently-used items that donors no longer want, need or use. Those items are sold either in our retail stores or online at onlinegoodwill.com. Revenue from the sale of donated goods helps fund job training services and programs provided by Goodwill Career Solutions. In addition to retail sales, Goodwill depends on several other revenue sources, including state and local grants.

I had a small item in my cart, and a staff member took it from me, saying someone would pick it up with their car, even though it was only a 5 pound item. I had been carrying it in my cart while browsing for over 20 minutes, so the situation felt unnecessary and frustrating. I hope the store can address this to improve the shopping experience for customers

All womens dresses are at least $7.99, clothes 6.99....so I'm not going to pay 6.99 for a used Walmart tshirt. Shoes were priced really high as well. Not everyone is a reseller. Most people shop second hand because it's all they can afford. And good luck finding the tag color of the week, the employees pull them off the shelf.

- MMMelissa McDonaldFeb 21, 20265.0If you’re looking for a suit for a man or a woman check out Goodwill Needmore rd. I paid $7 for a dress suite and hubby $8 . It look like it was made for him. The place is definitely organized and I really appreciate that.
