Thrift Store
The vision of our 501(c3) nonprofit organization is that ALL people have the opportunity to reach their fullest potential through the power of work.Goodwill Industries of Middle Tennessee is based in Nashville, Tenn. The agency serves 48 counties throughout Middle and West Tennessee, operating 30 retail stores and two outlet stores, about 53 Donation Express Centers and 13 Career Solutions Centers. The nonprofit is one of Tennessee’s largest employers of people with disabilities with more than 45 percent of our workforce reporting some type of disability or disadvantage. Although affiliated with Goodwill Industries International in Rockville, Md., we operate independently through our own governing board of directors. Goodwill accepts gently-used items that donors no longer want, need or use. Those items are sold either in our retail stores or online at onlinegoodwill.com. Revenue from the sale of donated goods helps fund job training services and programs provided by Goodwill Career Solutions. In addition to retail sales, Goodwill depends on several other revenue sources, including state and local grants.

- JKJennifer Adams Kimble4 days ago5.0I have to say, this is hands down the best Goodwill I have ever visited. And I’ve traveled all over the United States, so I’ve seen a lot of them. The first thing I noticed when I walked in was how amazing the store smells. It actually has a clean, pleasant scent, almost like a hotel lobby, which is something you rarely experience in a thrift store. It immediately makes the space feel welcoming and well cared for. The store itself is incredibly clean and beautifully organized. Everything is easy to browse, neatly arranged, and clearly managed with care. You can tell that the team here takes pride in maintaining the space. What really stood out, though, was the staff. Everyone was friendly, helpful, and welcoming. It’s obvious that this store is very well managed and that the team works together to create a great shopping experience. On top of all that, the prices are very reasonable, and there are some great finds if you take the time to look. Overall, this location sets the standard for what a Goodwill should be. Clean, organized, friendly, and well run. If every thrift store were managed like this one, thrifting would be an even better experience. Highly recommend stopping in if you’re in the area. Their manager Marilyn is a waste as she is awful and aggressive while trying to find behind her position as manager . There are a dozen posts about her on here she needs to go before the store gets sued .... I have 2 videos of her running her mouth both will be sent to corporate. And the local news stations
