I always like the store. They have a great selection of guns. A lot of ammunition. I'm a reloader, so having bullets and powder and primer on the shelf is nice, but the primer's always seem to be too high. The people behind the gun counter seem to be pretty knowledgeable not about everything, but most things.

I would not even give this a one star. My husband and I came there and went to go look for a lever action and as my husband gave the ID and he went to almost purchase a gun and was waiting, another guy as he says is the “manager” named “Travis daniel” was very rude because my husband was looking at the price tags while waiting and told his co-worker to cancel the $1000 purchase because my husband was looking at the price tags of others right next to the gun he wanted.. knowingly there was no ammo in it. Instead of just saying “hey I can help you in a minute” he was very rude and denied purchase. I would not recommend this store and would highly recommend bass pro as this store has great customer service. He should be fired. This was my husbands Christmas present. Terrible customer service! I will report this several times. What a rude individual.

Terrible communication about getting a bow setup. Went in Thursday was told they would be in on Friday so I called Friday and was told he was gonna be there on Saturday. I went in on Saturday and was told no one was there but he was there on Friday. So if you go get a bow setup don’t bother you’ll never know what day to show up.

It's a good place to find some bargains and variety. NEVER let them fit you for a bow. I'm not going to name the employee because he was a nice guy, but their "bow tech" has absolutely no idea what he's doing. It took my local shop over an hour to correct what he did. If you're in the Chattanooga area, it's worth the drive to Discount Sporting Goods in Dalton to get fitted. The prices are good here. Go to a local store with real experts if you want legitimate service. Also, make sure you check everything before you leave the store. If they go to the back to get you something, there's a 50/50 chance it's right.
