  The photo department is awful and difficult. Last year, the lady taking my daughter's 2 year photos was indifferent and didn't try at all to get good photos of her. I decided to give another try today and we get there for our appointment time and waited for over an hour before having to leave to another appointment elsewhere. The lady said we could come back in the afternoon and we agreed. The afternoon gets here and we call them before getting something to eat. The lady on the phone told us we could still come and they'd just see us when we got there. We get there and the lady at the counter told us she couldn't take our photos today because they were all booked! There was hardly anyone there and we literally had just spoken to someone on the phone! And this lady at the counter was the same lady that did a bad job last time we were there with my daughter's 2 year photos. She has absolutely no compassion for someone traveling with a toddler and a 80 year old. We won't be back.

  I am So disappointed in J.C Penny and the company that they work with. My husband bought me an anniversary bridal set¹ in September 2024 and it has spent more time at the repar shop than with me. First in October Ialone it had to be sent out 3 or 4 times because the company they use kept screwing up the sizes. Then after those 2x it had to go back out another 2x because the diamonds in the wedding band fell out twice. 8 weeks all 4x and I have to drive an hour each way to this store. Now since June its been in the shop 5x. After the fouth time in June they assured my husband my rings were Fine because they Repronged all the stones. We got it back the end of November, on December 6th I put it on and when I looked down the prong on the side of my band was broke off and the sapphire was gone. We took it back to the store and talked to the supervisor who felt really bad about how many times this has happened since getting it.And was even more astonished about how many times since June! Well we were told the company they deal with would do a buy out, which is what we want. Now we are being told No they are repairing it and sending it back to us which we were told that Would Not be the case. That the company would do the buy out.This is Not Fair! J C Penny You Need to take some accountability for all of this. You are the ones that assured my husband and myself that They Would do the buy out because of all the times that set had to be brought in and how far we had to travel one way! Please Do better for Your customers. We are more than a transaction. Well this evening 1/4/2026 I got a call from this store from Thelma telling me that the buy out for my rings was going to happen. Well you would've thought that would be good news, Nope! Theres a catch it has to be on a gift card! Really J.C Penny Really! I Dont Want to do Business With You Ever Again! Please just refund the money and we can go our separate ways! Why do you want to Force unhappy customers to shop with you? Today 1/5/2026 my busband and myself talked to Denise about the buy out issue. She was so nice. She put it right back on my husbands card and was very apologetic. Denise deserves recognition for her customer service and politeness. Thank you Denise for rectifying such a stressful and draining experience!
