- HSHope SOct 22, 20251.0On Saturday night I went in to get my lipsticks color matched because I wanted MAC instead. BIG MISTAKE. The sales woman asked if she could apply them to the back of her hand, I asked why because they are mine and it would make sense to color match on my skin because tones look different on everyone. At that point she got annoyed and said "because its faster if I do it. Its my job. I'm really good at this." She took them then proceeded to douse my smaller lipstick with alcohol, pressed on it so hard it snap in half, and broke the tube so now it can't come out or be repaired. The second lipstick was smashed in and ended up on the sides of the case. The colors she tried to convince me were a close match I either already owned or they were noticeable several shades off. When I pointed that out she was very annoyed again and said "it's not going to be exact, they are different brands." I didn't expect an exact match, but ones that would be close. I also didn't expect my products to get damaged and to be treated so rudely. I went to Ulta after that and recieved better customer service.
