The vision of our 501(c3) nonprofit organization is that ALL people have the opportunity to reach their fullest potential through the power of work.Goodwill Industries of Middle Tennessee is based in Nashville, Tenn. The agency serves 48 counties throughout Middle and West Tennessee, operating 30 retail stores and two outlet stores, about 53 Donation Express Centers and 13 Career Solutions Centers. The nonprofit is one of Tennessee’s largest employers of people with disabilities with more than 45 percent of our workforce reporting some type of disability or disadvantage. Although affiliated with Goodwill Industries International in Rockville, Md., we operate independently through our own governing board of directors. Goodwill accepts gently-used items that donors no longer want, need or use. Those items are sold either in our retail stores or online at onlinegoodwill.com. Revenue from the sale of donated goods helps fund job training services and programs provided by Goodwill Career Solutions. In addition to retail sales, Goodwill depends on several other revenue sources, including state and local grants.

- CBCordashia Beard4 days ago1.0Nice finds. Rude staff. Michelle watched my every move while browsing. She asked me to donate I simply replied with a “ No thank you”. Immediately after she threw my receipt at me and turned around to continue whatever she was doing behind her. It was a lady (customer) that came behind me and said “ It’s her not you, that was really rude, don’t let it ruin your day.” For someone else to notice it is crazy. If she didn’t want to be at work she could’ve called in. I’m not sure if she threw the receipt because I didn’t donate or because she didn’t want to touch my hands… If that’s the case , the feelings were mutual but I didn’t treat her like a dog and throw anything. I pray she finds kindness in this cruel world we’re living in smh…
- CCChristinaFeb 23, 20261.0Most overpriced inventory across Middle TN Goodwills. Poor service as well. Line wraps around the store and cashiers have no sense of urgency. Only 2 dressing rooms here and usually have to find someone to unlock them.
- ZJZoe JFeb 2, 20261.0I walked in at 7 and the lady white lady shut the door in my face and wouldn’t allow me in because she wanted to leave early even though the store closes at 8. As I’m writing this I see a white lady walking in and she allowed her in. So now I’m very upset and trying to figure out if she just Didn’t want a black person in. Drove 30 mins to Come to this location just To be turned around

They are never staffed at checkout it is not ok that they do not care here about those spend money to keep them open In addition cashier Kevin will round up your purchase without asking and state he did not round it up when directly asked- this is pure theft.
