My wife ordered a *red jumper* for our daughter’s Davidson Academy uniform at Flynn O’Hara in Nashville. We placed the order in person on a Saturday — made it clear what we wanted — and a week later, the package arrived at our home. When we opened it, the uniform was *black*. We know exactly what we ordered, so we drove back to the store (an hour each way) to get it corrected. When we explained the situation, the woman behind the counter looked at the invoice and said, “Well, it says black.” My wife, in a calm and respectful tone, replied that we *ordered red*, not black — if we wanted black, we would’ve just picked it off the shelf. Instead of showing any understanding, the employee was rude and dismissive. We’ve dealt with the previous company before the buyout and *never* had issues like this — they treated customers with respect and made things right. We’re paying customers and should be treated as such. To drive all that way and be treated like we don’t matter is beyond frustrating. Something needs to change at this location — better customer service, accountability, and a reminder that mistakes happen, but how you handle them makes all the difference.
