Follow up: I had the general manager reach out too me in a vary respectable way, and listen too my concerns and issues. He explained his side. And i explained my side.
Was offered my gun smithing bill to be covered with in-store credit. Was vary happy they reached out and took the creditability, al-thought its there suppliers fault. They still stood on business and handled it. Vary good job
I bought a Chinese SKS on boxing day for 799.00, they told me because its a surplus military firearm there is no warranty, witch is fine. But what isnt fine is they sold me a SKS that wasnt even shoot-able out of the box, it was filled with grime and guck. The gas piston rod was locked soild didnt slide or move, needed to be forced out, the piston head had burs and dimples witch needed to be filled and smoothed out, the firing pin was also stuck soild, if I shot it out the box, if it even fired, it would of went full auto and shot the hole mag and then been locked up. I understand surplus fire arms, but throwing it in a new stock system with out cleaning it and making sure its fire-able, then selling it as a refurbished SKS for 800 bucks is insanity when its not even shoot-able. Its theift at that point

Monday Dec 22, 2026 was shopping at Bass Pro Preston Crossing using my own bag to carry merchandise to checkout as none are provided when I was confronted by 2 Bass Pro employees who loudly admonished me for using my own bag to " carry unpaid for merchandise" as if I was a criminal and within earshot of other customers. It was to say the least embarrassing for me and shameful behavior. you have a choice and Bass Pro is a privately owned USA company . We have many other Canadian Sporting goods stores here .

My son spend his hard earned money on a fish finder. We’ve spent thousands at this store on fishing gear each year. When after using the unit once it quit we went back to the store for some help. The staff at the fishing booth, was very helpful. However, when we went to the customer service desk the staff was incredibly rude and could have cared less about helping us. It felt like they took pleasure in telling my son he was out of luck and they could do nothing since it was past 60 days. The customer service staff was so rude, I will never again visit this store or location. This is the worst customer service I’ve ever experienced, I cannot believe this is acceptable of employees. I guess the fishing hole will get our business from now on!
