- RRRyanOct 8, 20251.0I am a father of 5 and rarely get to buy clothes for myself. I purchased a pair of jeans from this store, wore them one time, washed them as the tag specified, and they shrunk. I called and spoke with the manager who told me very quickly there is nothing we can do since I washed them. SO HERE IS WHY I AM WRITHING THIS- If you decide to purchase clothing items from American Eagle in Rapid City they are clean and wearable one time. Even if you follow the instructions you’re hosed…… Customer service used to be important to everyone. I try to shop local and avoid buying online when I can. But this store and the manager I spoke to reminded me of the comfort of ordering online, and the guarantee of at least an exchange. You suck American Eagle.

I tried to do an exchange and bought 2 items that were less than the first time and they didn’t give me the buy one get one half off or a refund for the extra money they charged me! Super disappointed that I spend way more than I should have. The associates didn’t help me either and wouldn’t listen to what I was trying to say.
