They take our phone number at the time of purchase, and I think maybe email as well so they should be able to look up purchases. I went there yesterday. Unfortunately, my receipt wasn't in the bag, so I opted to go back today once I found the receipt. I was told that with the receipt, the money would be out nah in our account. I explained that our card had been fraudulently used, and we no longer had the same card used to make the purchase. I was not told that would be an issue. I went back today, receipt in hand, and was told the best they could do was give be a gift card for the amount spent. This felt like a contradiction from what I was told yesterday. Admittedly, I was frustrated because we are being forced to make another purchase at Belk or forfeit our money. I still have them 4 stars for politeness and good prices. I wish the return policy had been more transparent.
