It is not the customer fault that the employees doesn't do a clothing check to make sure that a customer doesn't pick up clothing that is priced wrong. Secondly they don't have a fitting room for you to try on the clothing to see if it fits or not. Rock Hill goodwill has went down. Will not go back... and I DO NOT recommend this location at all... prices too high in general and prices too high on broken items, no quality items and the are shelves empty...

I’ve visited this location twice now, and unfortunately today will be my last. Compared to other Goodwill stores in the surrounding area, this one has been very disappointing. There never seem to be shopping carts available, which makes it difficult to shop comfortably.
The quality of items on the shelves is also an issue. Many of the toys are missing pieces, and a lot of items are damaged or broken, yet still priced very high.. I saw chipped teapots, broken frames and mirrors, and even a lamp with tags still on it but clearly broken, priced at $14.99. I also noticed bread pans that still had their original price tags showing a lower cost than what Goodwill was charging.
It feels like many items are being priced as if they are new, even when their condition doesn’t reflect that. I’m not sure how pricing decisions are being made, but they don’t seem consistent with the condition of the merchandise. I also didn’t see much restocking happening, so the selection felt limited and mostly made up of items that should not be on the sales floor because as I've said, they're broken.
Other Goodwill locations in Charlotte and nearby areas offer better quality items, more reasonable pricing, and a more organized shopping experience. I hope this store can improve its pricing, quality control, and stocking practices, because right now it doesn’t reflect what people expect from a Goodwill. I would not recommend this store especially if you have a child requiring a shopping cart.

If I can give u a 0 I would after today I will never ever go back to that goodwill y’all had someone following me and my niece when we just went in to look for a retractable dog leash my niece had a very bad panic attack due to somebody following us for no reason I will be calling corporate And I will be telling everybody I know not to go there they act like we were still in and we just went in to look for a retractable leash. That’s pretty damn bad that’s fine because I will never come back up there ever again.

Apparently someone can walk up to the register, tell them they want to buy what's in your cart, and they'll sell it to them. I had a small cabinet with a sliding door in my cart for 10 mins, they can check the cameras, and an employee walks up and tells me that the cabinet sold JUST NOW. And then proceeded to remove it from my cart and walk off. So I left. I'm never returning to this location, and I know losing one customer doesn't hurt them, but they really need to have a better system and better staff.
