The middle-aged lady had an attitude when I asked her questions, as if I were bothering her. She seemed too busy gossiping and laughing loudly with her friend about other staff members. She was the only employee, so I didn’t ask to try on anything. A lady who I presumed was a customer whispered to me to get my items in Ari and check out at the American Eagle side; they are nicer. I did just that! I am assuming she has had a similar experience or maybe overheard the conversation too. Anyway, I was expecting the employee to be somewhat like Ari, but she was the complete opposite. She went out of her way to help me find the right size and made me feel happier to shop and try on clothes. I told her my experience with Ari, and she quickly apologized on their behalf and rang me up. The Spanish girl who helped me was friendly and helpful if it wasn’t for her I’d only give one star. As a business owner myself, I would prefer to hire the right candidates who will make people feel welcome, want to come back, and have a great shopping experience.
