  I need to give a serious shout out to Parris at the Broadway at the Beach location in Myrtle Beach, SC. She was so helpful, honest, and truly spent time helping me understand the differences between brands and lenses. I didnt quite know what I wanted, but needed a good quality lens because I was walking around wearing crap. Parris walked me through the entire process, soup to nuts, and any follow up I may need in the future. Thank you so much, Parris. Love my new Ray Bans ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️😎

  One of the nicer eyeglass stores in the area. This particular shop was very clean, I noticed it as soon as I walked in the door. Everything was neat and orderly. Most importantly the glasses “did not” have fingerprint smudges all over them. Trying on eyeglasses is really personal. Can anything in this world be physically closer to you than a set of eyeglasses, that’s a big no from me. All your bodily senses are concentrated right where you wear a pair of glasses. It’s the prime location for a virus, bacteria, or a fungus to enter your body and in this post-Covid world we have seen where that can get you. So for me, seeing this store being so clean I felt comfortable taking my time trying on many different eyeglasses. Also helpful was the very nice and knowledgeable salesperson. She was very knowledgeable without being pushy. With her input I tried on a bunch of glasses a little different than what I’ve been wearing for past many years. Not so much the styles, it was more of a proper fit and coverage. It was a good visit. I learned a few things about eyeglasses and how best to wear them while having a pleasant and humorous conversation with an especially nice person. I actually enjoyed my brief visit. However, I did not buy my glasses here. I’m not sure why but there were no sales or discounts on the two brands that I like. There were a lot of glasses on sale, just not the ones I wanted. Being that another store in the same complex gave me 20% on the same exact glasses, guess where I made my purchase. So my advice to the owner of the store is to give that salesperson a raise, she deserves it. Secondly, you always have to discount eyeglasses, it’s just the way things go.

  The customer service was amazing. The lady helped me find the pair of glasses I wanted and on sale for over half off the original cost.

  Went to exchange some sunglasses I had bought a few days earlier at another location. They told me they couldn’t help me due to me buying them at an outlet store and they don’t carry the same product. She then picked up my exact pair from her shelf and looked at them and set them down. Then asked a person in the back who came out and asked if I had a protection plan. (I did have one). These sunglasses were literally 4 days old and the issue was a manufacturer defect where the spring in the ear piece popped/stripped out. I expected more from a $300 pair of oakley but understand issues happen in Quality control. But to be asked if I had the protection plan as if I was going to use that to cover a manufacturer defect is outrageous. Why would I waste what I paid for on a defect. Overall poor customer service and as someone who has bought many pairs of oakley from sunglass hut, I will likely buy directly from oakley moving forward and will never visit this location when visiting Myrtle beach. I’ll stick to the Tanger outlet center which had superior customer service. Because of this experience I returned the glasses completely instead of an exchange.
