- WGW GambrellNov 5, 20251.0I wanted to share this because I felt like Upper Management needs to talk to one of the employees at Belk's for very rude behavior. Today I was in Belk's and there was a nice lady in front of me. I could tell she was very hurt by the way she was treated by an employee in the ladies department. I heard her tell the store representative she was picking up some things for her Mother who is elderly and has been sick. Well the store representative at the cash register was so disrespectful to her. I do not know the representative's name but I remember she had tattoos on both of her arms. She spoke rudely and so loud that everyone around could hear everything the she said. Loudly the representative said she could not use her Mother's card to make the purchase. She said that it was fraud. There were a good many people around us. The lady ended up playing in cash and left. I just know this, if a representative wanted to talk to her in the manner she did, she could have pulled her aside and been a lot nicer. It upset me and the people we were with. We all went home and closed our Belk's Accounts today. Seriously, if I had been the one she talked rude to, i would have walked out and not bought anything. Goodbye Belk's!!!

We ended up putting our dresses back on the rack and leaving. The only employees we found were in the jewelry dept. They tried to be helpful, truly..... But having to walk the store in circles to find a dressing room that wasn't available = no. We ended up at the Belks in Knoxville on the way home.
