I really don’t know what it was about my appearance or demeanor that gave her the idea that I was a potential shoplifter, and maybe I’m just assuming, but if that’s what the employees are trained to do, it’s not a very welcoming feeling. She asked if I needed anything while I was browsing, I said no, and then she continued to hover over me or keep her eyes on me the entire time I shopped. If I wanted to steal from a retail store (which I’ve never done and will never do) it’s not going to be one on the heart of Main Street lol, you can stop breathing down my neck.
