  This Belk store in Haywood mall was the cleanest, most well merchandised and updated store we went to all day. And I believe my wife and I went in every home store in and out of the mall in Greenville today. I owned a retail store for almost 40 years, so I know a little about it, and I'm hard to impress.

  Sooo slowwww…. Seems like there are so many ways to speed up checkout. Plenty of people walking about who work here….but unable to run a checkout. Seems like sales would be important than walking around - but what do I know about running a highly profitable store. These guys make so much money that I will shop at some other stores that need my business. 😡

  I stopped here during the Christmas holiday season, on a Saturday. One thing I hate doing is shopping on Saturdays during the Christmas season. The store was surprisingly neat and well-organized. I was able to find many blouses and sweaters and there were many sales. Melissa in the women's section was very helpful, pleasant, and kind. She helped me to maximize my Belk's rewards and coupons, she offered gift receipts, free boxes and tissue paper. She is definitely an above average employee! Keep up the good work, Melissa!

  Do not shop here! Deceptive and fraudulent practices with ZERO response from management. Opened a new account and tried to use 20% shopping pass online only to be told by a customer service rep with zero knowledge of policy that i couldnt use 20% off online, and kept putting me on hold to ask her supervisor. When trying to purchase items online the website rejected the 20% code saying i wasn't eligible to use it after the offer online clearly showed the price I would be charged for items in my basket if opened account, however if i was standing in the store when i opened the account I could shop all day. So i have to drive to the store to have them order the items for me to use the 20% off. THIS IS OUTRAGEOUS AND COMPLETELY UNACCEPTABLE!!! The week prior I bought a formal dress on sale and returned the dress within the week after finding another dress elsewhere and they held $5 dollars saying i couldn't be refunded the entire sale amount! THIS IS FRAUD!! I PAID $126 and should be refunded exactly what i paid, period!! Sales clerk was nice but the black female manager that came out was rude and completely unprofessional!!! Received the items i ordered with my new account in the mail yesterday and one of the items looks as if it has been worn and washed, I have never received anything ever that was delivered to me in the condition that this package was! Went to return both items today and guess what , no one at any register at multiple register throughout the store, walked around for ten minutes trying to find an associate to return items and finally found a nice lady in another dept. Received $10 coupon for signing up for emails that says it is stackable with other coupons and NO I did not have items on the exclusion list but would not allow me to add $10 coupon to order with sale price even though offer states IT IS STACKABLE!! Misleading and deceptive. And the website, what a joke!!! Glitches throughout and nothing works properly. I have never been so disgusted with a dept store, EVER!!! No leadership, no customer service in store and the online customer service needs to be shut down completely!!! DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME WITH THEIR LOUSY CREDIT CARD OR SHOP IN THIS STORE!!!!!
