  We call the store yesterday to inquire what time they would close. We were told 8:00 p.m. We live over an hour away and at 6: 00 we decided to go ahead and make the trip to purchase a coat we had seen in the store. We hit traffic on the interstate and walked up to the door at 7:50. It was locked. We can see the employee inside ignoring us so we attempt to call. She answers the phone unprofessionally and actually just says hello. I had to make sure I had called the right number. I then tell her the situation and she says that she was sorry she's the only one there by herself and that she closed early. What a wasted trip and a very poor employee. So sad because I have never run into a bad employee at this location. She refused to let us purchase the coat even though the store was supposed to still be open. She told us she was there alone and that was why she closed early. This occurred on Monday Sept 1st.

  Everybody in the store were so friendly. The most helpful were Maricela and Zach. They are a HUGE asset to your team. Thank you both.

  5* First of all I love American eagle pants.. They fit us very well.. We like them so we do our shopping here not necessarily at this store so I will say this... I was glad we came here we got the regular buy one get 50% off another BUT, while we were shopping yesterday they had take another 30% off the total bill.. We saved a good bit of money... The lady that helped us "Sydney" was absolutely fantastic. That girl she must have been there forever cuz she knows her stuff inside and out.. She can look at a pair of pants and know exactly what they were and she knew our sizes spot on ..that was incredible.. the place was very busy but the team worked fabulous.. A guy Justin helped us also and was fantastic and the girl at checkout was also very pleasant very nice we had a great experience,. I can't say enough good about this place... Sorry no pictures other than the few jeans we bought .. but we loved it.. thank you crew at American eagle outfitters at the Gaffney outlet mall.. All you people deserve a raise... The amount of people that was in there and the line and how quick they had us in and out was very impressive.. They were doing better than any fast food place and I mean that sincerely... we are impressed... highly recommended and American eagle outfitters should model their stores after this excellent well trained well functioning crew... HIGHLY RECOMMENDED 👍..
