  After not being able to find what my wife needed at the Laurinburg NC or the Lumberton NC location we drove all the way to Florence SC. It’s a much larger store and carries items not available in the smaller stores. My wife says the ladies department is also better stocked than other places. All the associates were very helpful and respectful. I’m going to stop wasting my time with these smaller locations.

  I’m very grateful to Angie/Angelica for her kindness and professionalism during a very difficult time.(funeral) She understood exactly what I needed soft, respectful makeup that made me feel put together without feeling overdone. Her calm presence and attention to detail meant more than I can say, and the makeup held beautifully throughout the day. I would highly recommend her for anyone needing a makeup artist who truly understands the moment. Not for sure on the name but you can find her in the makeup department

  Well, well well! Christmas shopping is Christmas shopping and they're ready for ya. What I mean to say is that the clerks, associates, and sales people are busy busy working. Ain't nothing wrong with it. Glad I got the assistance I needed despite the crowd. Some folk like us still want to see what we're buying rather than ordering online.

  Today I was in Belk and I was shopping at the MAC counter where I normally come in and by my makeup needs and I have gotten very comfortable with the new counter manager he has done amazing work on me his name is Brandon. He is great. He was assisting another customer and the lady from estee rushed over a blonde Hispanic woman out of no where and just started bad mouthing him saying he is a liar come to my counter etc. I thought this was very rude of someone he has always treated me with the upmost respect and then I came back by and he was gone. I can see the cattiness like no other with these counters. He is at that counter alone every time I come in and I’m a weekly shopper and I’m highly disappointed with how he is being treated by this company and it is unacceptable. As a shopper at Belks for years he should NOT be talked about with customers and it is profiling him to the upmost degree. He is very kind and I quit shopping at the counter for almost a year before I started seeing him there. Treat him well Belk it’s not okay and I have expressed it with corporate as well. Highly disappointed!!!!!! The counter has never looked better and I know it’s his work so treat him with respect and dignity!
