  I was in Belk on Monday afternoon, March 17, 2026, shopping at the perfume counter. I met Shaniqa, sales associate. She assisted me very well with patience, knowledgeable and professional. She did’t rush me or made me feel uncomfortable while shopping and testing perfumes. We need more sales associates like Shaniqa at Belk Department Store, Florence, SC.

  After not being able to find what my wife needed at the Laurinburg NC or the Lumberton NC location we drove all the way to Florence SC. It’s a much larger store and carries items not available in the smaller stores. My wife says the ladies department is also better stocked than other places. All the associates were very helpful and respectful. I’m going to stop wasting my time with these smaller locations.

  I’m very grateful to Angie/Angelica for her kindness and professionalism during a very difficult time.(funeral) She understood exactly what I needed soft, respectful makeup that made me feel put together without feeling overdone. Her calm presence and attention to detail meant more than I can say, and the makeup held beautifully throughout the day. I would highly recommend her for anyone needing a makeup artist who truly understands the moment. Not for sure on the name but you can find her in the makeup department

  Well, well well! Christmas shopping is Christmas shopping and they're ready for ya. What I mean to say is that the clerks, associates, and sales people are busy busy working. Ain't nothing wrong with it. Glad I got the assistance I needed despite the crowd. Some folk like us still want to see what we're buying rather than ordering online.
