  JCPenney is the best store in the mall of Anderson, it’s always the same as Belk and Dillard’s, there are cool items, clothes, pants, shoes and more you can buy, also it very quiet, I visit this store 2 times, it’s cool!

  Very frustrating experience with jewelry. I purchased a neckalce and also purchases the warranty. After 3 days the chain broke. A link was not completely sealed and the chain came apart. It was sent back to be repaired. They said it would be done by jan 5th it is the 9th today. I went in to ask about the status. The employee at the jewelry counter said it was not back yet. I asked when would it be redy then . She said she did not know. I asked if she could call where it was sent out to to get a update. She did not know. I asked are these expensive peices of jewlery tracked. She said yes , so i asked ok well you should know where its at. She said she did not know. I asked for someone that would know she said nobody is here that would know. So i asked ok is it lost? She said no, so again i asked ok so you know where its at can you call and get a update. She said she didnt know. I might not be the smartest person but please make that make sense. You say its not lost but you have no idea where its at. I am gaining a better understanding of why these stores are looking at going out of business. I have no to do research to try and find out where my jewlery is at or even if i will be able to get it back. I would not recommend buying jewelry from there. A lesson learned.

  I visited there on Thursday, January 8, 2026 around 6:30 to buy a denim skirt. As I was checking out, Kyra assisted me, what a pleasant and friendly service representative. This makes a difference and will help to keep customers coming. She asked me right away if I had a JC Penney 's credit card and if I would like to apply for one? I usually would have declined but I went ahead and applied yesterday. I ended up saving $35 dollars on my purchase and paying a little over one dollar for my Gloria Vanderbilt skirt, what a steal!!😊 Lord willing, I hope to visit again, especially with so many items on sale and/or on clearance racks.
