The cashier Lori was pleasantly chatting with the 2 women as she scan their items. When their transaction was finished Lori chatted with them for a few more moments before turning and talking to another customer that was still shopping. Lori didn’t acknowledge me or my daughter standing in line, and the conversation she was having with the customer wasn’t work related. Instead if checking me out Lori thought it was important to update this other customer up on the lives of her family, and talk about her granddaughter grades in school. Another employee Amelia noticed Lori ignoring us and stepped over to her register and began scanning my items. Only when Amelia was halfway done did Lori end her conversation and step over to Amelia to comment on the clothing I was buying still not acknowledging me at all.
