- EEEvieNov 15, 20255.0I had a phenomenal experience at Madewell in Cranston! Paige welcomed me into the store, asked me what I was looking for, and ended up recommending the perfect style of jeans for me! She and Gina both kindly picked out my size in a few different washes and styles, and I got to try out a bunch of options. I am 5’1 so finding jeans that are available in petite sizes is a blessing. I did end up buying the vintage flare crop, which fit me like a classic pair of jeans, rather than above the ankle, and I love them! Gina was especially helpful in helping me determine which size to buy and explained how the jeans would let out slightly as I wear them, so I ended up choosing the smaller size, and I’m very glad that I did! The entire experience was really lovely, and they were both so friendly and kind. I never felt pressured to make a purchase, but they introduced me to my new favorite pair of jeans and I will certainly be returning to Madewell on my next trip to Garden City Center ❤️ Thank you Gina and Paige!

When I get to the store, they had not only set up a dressing room for me but also pulled EVERY SINGLE PAIR OF SHORTS. All of the girls working were very eager to help out, and it made me feel very welcomed. I didn’t feel as if I was bothering them in any manner! I would highly recommend shopping in person solely for the experience — they love to style you and check sizes for anything you’d like!
- ACAshley ClarkFeb 25, 20241.0I wish I could say I had an even decent experience at this Madewell location. I am a valued and dedicated customer and have recently moved to the Providence area. A few months ago I went to this Madewell where I was informed to bring in old jeans for a partial refund (with receipt) for the prior pair of jeans I had bought. Excited, I brought back two pairs of jeans and got a money off coupon. They informed me that the workers who told us that information were not accurate. There is no such thing as getting money back on an already purchased pair of jeans. HOWEVER, these different employees told me to bring back more jeans to then have enough coupons for a new pair of jeans! With this information, I went back a few weeks later (last week) and brought back more jeans. I then went to try on a new pair to purchase with a discount. I went to the register where a different employee than the prior two times said that you are not allowed to use more than one coupon at a time. So, due to their lack of knowledge and communication throughout the department, I was expected to pay nearly full price for jeans after giving away six pairs. I have never had an experience this bad with any retail store. I demand there is a meeting throughout this Madewell store to discuss protocol and rules. I was very excited for another pair of Madewell jeans, but now I will spend my money elsewhere, and so will everyone I know.
