Not only are they expensive, but they aren’t transparent at all. They don’t answer phone calls, voicemails, texts, or emails… and their app is confusing. Oh not to mention they told me my appointment was at 9am, and that it may take a few hours… but really the garage has you drop off the vehicle for the whole day and they get to it when they can… again, not the garages fault. But annoying. Wasn’t going to leave a review, but since they keep harassing me to leave one… here y'all go. Glad smart start can send numerous texts/emails, asking for a review… when they can’t even respond to any questions of their clients.

What do I need to bring to my installation?
Bring a photo ID and proof of residence in the form of a document verifying your address. How does an Interlock Device work?
When you blow into your Ignition Interlock Device, you're providing a breath test sample in order to start the vehicle. The device then measures your Breath Alcohol Concentration (BrAC), and will either say that you passed, need to retest, or failed. You will be asked to take rolling retests throughout your drive.

Is an Ignition Interlock the same as a breathalyzer?
