I great up idolizing this mall. It was always "the big mall". Now it is more like the only mall. I love this mall very much. It is easy to spend a whole entire day here. Great shopping and even better food. Around Christmas time they have vendors who make personalized ornaments and everything is decorated beautifully. Wear your comfortable shoes and spend the whole day here!! With or without the kids. There is a playground area.

I’ve been going to Ross park mall since I was a teenager and spent countless amounts of money there as an adult. Tuesday March 24th at around 5:00pm I was on the second level and I as I walked past near the Loft store there was a young man handing out small white bags. Instead of handing me a bag like the people in front of me he made a statement saying “you look like you are from the hood…” as a black man I was highly offended that he would just make that assumption. He then followed up with saying “you are from alliquippa…” As pissed as his comments made me I did not lash out. I explained to him that his comments were racist and if he comes across the wrong person with that approach to a stranger that it could possibly not end well… I left the mall right after because his assumptions completely ruined my mood. Especially being a black man who has worked extremely hard to be a successful business man and father.
