Poor customer service and unhelpful when trying to get a return or exchange for a faulty product. You would think a business that’s been on the verge of being shuttered for years at this point would make at least some kind of effort to reimburse customers who have purchased a faulty product. I shouldn’t have had to work this out with my credit card company and dispute the charge overall instead of with the rude staff at the returns counter.

We had a very uncaring experience. Nearly $250 wasted!
I tried organizing family group photos. I scheduled a sitting time. 5 different households, 5 different distances, over 8 different job schedules. Very difficult, but, we all amazingly got there early for our scheduled appointment, but they made us wait an additional HOUR & A HALF PAST our time. No one had time for that, but everyone stayed. Other groups showed up after us and were still taken in before us. I was told we'd lose our spot if we were late, but none of them did. About 90 MINUTES of waiting, with small kids. There was at least one large group scheduled after us, but somehow we were bumped to the last group of the day.
The photographer (Tamika) was careless with the pictures and more interested in the score of the football game. She didn't adjust our positions for the pictures I wanted or the lights, almost every picture is uncentered, cut crooked and or just crooked in general.
After our reserved 30min, the cashier rushed us through the pictures to where we didn't even get to see them good enough to be sure of our choices, because they were closing soon (not our fault and shouldn't have been our problem being that our scheduled time was 5:45 and they chose not to take us in until after 7 when they closed at 8). For the most part, the pictures are all too zoomed in and unframeable because the frame would cut some of us off even more, crooked and uncentered, not even cut straight. They deleted at least one excellent picture that I wanted to buy. I REALLY WANTED that one, and it was still on the cameras flashdrive/Sim card. They said "we can try and retrieve it, but we're closing and it'll take too much time". It made me want to cry. It was too zoomed in like the rest, but i loved that picture. It makes me wonder how many other good ones they may have deleted/made unavailable for puchase. The pictures are just very unfortunate, but hey, they had my credit card on file, so why should they care if we get decent useable pictures or not since theyll be getting paid regardless. Also, since we all went so far out of our way to do this, I felt obligated to buy some. After all, it was a gift and if I didn't buy any then it would've truly been more of a complete waste of everyone's time and money (for the 'sitting').
The BIGGEST issue we all have: This could've been the absolute best unbeatable gift ever, it was very possibly our last opportunity in life to do this for our mother, but instead, we recieved half-assed photos. If there ever happens to be a next time, I'll just have the neighbor kid do it for free and print them myself, they'd probably turn out better.
Oh, and since everything was already so zoomed in, it was impossible to get a decent ornament, because it cuts us off even more.

We came into the portrait studio last night to take family pictures/maternity. We were the last appointment for the night and sam b was our photographer. I felt bad after finding out she couldn’t leave till we were done. But she never ever rushed us she allowed us so much time and space to get our family of 6 ready. She posed us and told us what to do as well as asking me if I wanted more pictures and of who. We never really splurge and get pictures done but decided to do it today since it’s our last baby! Sam has no idea what joy she brought to me with these pictures! After sam was done she sent us over to Emily who also took her time explaining the process and cost associated with what we want she was super friendly and took her time with us … again not feeling rushed is something I appreciate so much especially knowing that these girls were waiting on us to be able to clock out for the night after a long day of work .. both girls were very professional and so sweet. I ended up doing a membership with digital and got the digitals back almost immediately! Thank you so much Sam b and Emily !
