  My experience at Henne was exceptional due in large part to the customer service and attention to detail of the staff. While there are many places to purchase jewelry within the Pittsburgh metro none have come close to my time at Henne. I need to specifically mention Justin Williams. He is the Rolex experience liaison at Henne and always made me feel welcome and valued. Admittedly I was intimidated "shopping" for a Rolex as a 10 year anniversary gift for my wife. I wasn't certain where to start, thank goodness for Justin's guidance and diligence in securing the item before the date it was needed (for additional context I approached Justin about 4 months prior to the "due date"). My wife was completely shocked and hasn't stopped wearing the watch since it was gifted. I will state emphatically that Henne has won all of my future purchases in eastern PA given the fantastic customer experience. Further, I would immediately recommend to anyone looking for jewelry to always consider Henne first.

  I had such a great experience at Henne Jewelers thanks to Marla! I originally came in with a necklace that had a broken clasp, and she took care of everything quickly and kindly. When my boyfriend and I came back to pick it up, we asked to look at some engagement rings. She walked us through the entire process — what to look for, what matters most, and how to compare different options. What stood out the most was how patient and knowledgeable she was. She understood that we’re still a few months away from making a decision and never made us feel rushed. You can tell she really knows her stuff and genuinely wants to help. I highly recommend working with her!

  A few years back, after losing my mom, I inherited quite a lot of gold jewelry. Most of it from the 70's and 80's and not styles I would ever wear. Given the high price of gold now, figured it was a good time to sell some, and redesign some pieces into more modern styles. Checked with a bunch of local jewelers and didn't have much luck. I am so thrilled I decided to check with Henne!! I've been working with Henne's Estate and Vintage Jewelry Buyer Roger Sanford, and Jewelry Designer Jenny Lin. Both Roger and Jenny have been just wonderful! Roger has gone through all the jewelry I brought in and gave me individual prices both as cash and trade for new jewelry at Henne. Roger been incredibly patient and kind throughout the whole process. Especially because there's a lot of emotion around selling family jewelry, not feeling rushed or pressured was very important me. With Roger, I always felt comfortable and he made the experience so enjoyable. I love that Henne is a local family business and that some of my family's jewelry will be sold in their Estate Jewelry at Hennes, not just melted down for gold. While meeting with Roger, I had seen some of Jenny's upcycled pieces for sale in the store that are really beautiful and creatively designed. Jenny listened carefully to my ideas and likes/dislikes and has come up with some fantastic designs to turn outdated rings and a gold watch into pieces I will wear and cherish. Long review but wanted to make sure people are aware that Henne is such a perfect place to take jewelry you no longer want. Either to trade at current prices towards their new jewelry, or for cash. Or to have Jenny create something new out of sentimental jewelry. My thanks and appreciation to Roger and Jenny!!

  My fiancé and I had the pleasure of working with Chayla to find the perfect wedding bands. We didn’t have a specific vision going in, but Chayla guided us with patience and care, showing us a variety of options to help us discover what suited us. Even with my parents joining the appointment, she made the entire experience comfortable, personal, and enjoyable. We traveled all the way from California to Henne because I wanted to carry a piece of Pittsburgh—my hometown—with us on our wedding day and throughout our marriage. We explored several designs and ultimately found the perfect rings! It was my first time back at Henne since the remodel, and the store is absolutely stunning. We were warmly welcomed by Chloe, who greeted us at the door and led us to the bridal floor to meet Chayla. She even surprised us with glasses of champagne to celebrate this special moment. After finalizing our engraving, we captured a few adorable photos in front of the Henne Couple flower wall—a perfect ending to a perfect day. We left feeling so grateful and excited to begin this next chapter together, and look forward to wearing our Henne Jewelers wedding bands for many years and memories to come.

  I went to the store for the first time and was so excited. I have a lot of jewelry from here and normally my husband gets it for me and has had nothing but great experiences there. I have no idea how this place is worth 5 stars. I went to sell a very unique, bougie, and beautiful gold bracelet today from my grandfather appraised at $77,000. It was a custom made piece from a very famous couple in Pittsburgh. I met with Roger. First off, when I called to schedule an appointment he told us he couldn’t see us for weeks. I told him that’s crazy and apparently somehow he had an open schedule. When I met with him today it was super uncomfortable and he’s literally discussing all this in the loud main room. He only offered me $5000 for it!!! Less than what it would be if they melted it down to nothing. But he told me they were going to try to sell it, as they had A TON of Pitt jewelry and this was specially designed for the Chancellors wife. It was seriously insulting. Treasure Hunt was offering more .. what a waste of time. I tried to show him the appraisal paperwork but he said because the brand name wasn’t all over it that it wasn’t worth more. While Roger was looking at my bracelet for 53 minutes, I found 3 things I wanted to buy. Not to mention I’m 6 months pregnant and the store was 80 degrees and I wasn’t offered water or a place to sit. I had my other two children with me and that’s a long time to make 2 under 2 wait. Everyone else around me was offered champagne, beer, water. Roger just took my piece and walked away. The only positive part of my experience today was Brooke. She was amazing and I couldn’t wait to purchase everything when we were finished with Roger. But unfortunately he ruined her sales because he low balled me by so much. I will never return here because I don’t trust them. They woulda turned around and sold my piece for atleast $50,000. Stores like this need to do better. Their selection wasn’t even that good. I can’t believe I thought highly of this place.
